Hemm żewġ sinjali għal ĦWEJJEĠ TA’ TAĦT. L-ewwel wieħed għandu żewġ partijiet li jidħlu f’xulxin. (i) L-ewwel isir wieħed mis-sinjali għal ĦWEJJEĠ, Is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej jaqbdu d-drapp minn taħt l-ispalel u jitferfru ftit. (ii) Imbagħad, is-saba’ l-kbir u l-werrej ta’ id waħda jġebbdu id-drapp taħt l-għonq waqt li l-id l-oħra tgħaddi djagonalment ftit ’l isfel mill-ewwel id biex tindika ħwejjeġ ta’ taħt. It-tieni sinjal għandu żewġ partijiet ukoll. (i) L-ewwel juża sinjal differenti għal ĦWEJJEĠ. Iż-żewġ idejn jieħdu l-forma ta’ 5 bis-swaba’ mifrudin. L-idejn jitqiegħdu mrikkba fuq il-ħwejjeġ bil-pala tħares ’il ġewwa ftit ’l isfel mill-għonq u jiżżerżqu ’l isfel waqt li jinfirdu lejn il-ġnub huma u neżlin. (ii) Imbagħad issir it-tieni parti tal-ewwel sinjal.
There are two signs for UNDERCLOTHES. The first sign has two parts. (i) First, one of the signs for CLOTHES is made with the thumb and index finger holding up the material from just below the shoulders and fluttering a little. (ii) Then, the thumb and index finger of one hand pull the material below the neck whilst the other hand moves diagonally a little below to indicate underclothing. The second sign also has two parts. (i) First the other sign for CLOTHES is made. Both hands take the shape of 5 with fingers apart. The hands are placed overlapping on the clothes just below the neck with palms facing inwards. They slide downwards and separate to the sides on the way down. (ii) Then the second part of the first sign is made.
